Plain-language terms for the website and API. Short version: prices are guidance, payments are final unless something went wrong on our side, and we will make mistakes right.
The service
reusefulshop.com provides second-hand price information: estimates built from public marketplace listings (eBay asking prices, Discogs marketplace lows), daily price snapshots, and real sold prices from our own eBay shop. It is operated by the team behind the ReusefulShop eBay shop and is not affiliated with eBay or Discogs.
Estimates are guidance, not appraisals or financial advice. Every answer states its basis, sample size and confidence; asking prices are not sold prices. Do not rely on any figure for a decision you cannot afford to get wrong.
Human use
The website is free for personal research. Please don't overload or scrape the service, attempt to bypass the free-tier limits, or use it in ways that break the marketplace terms behind the data.
API use and payments
Machine access is paid per call via x402 (USDC on Base). Each payment is a single-use authorisation that settles on-chain; prices are shown on the agents page before you pay. Invalid requests are rejected before payment (HTTP 400). Server errors are not charged, and if your wallet shows a settlement for a call that returned an error, message us through the shop and we will make it right.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of availability or accuracy, and may change or pause (for example when upstream marketplace limits are hit). We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL. Privacy details are on the privacy page.
